Terms of Service

Welcome to Repostify ("the Service"), operated by AlphaGen Codes ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Accounts

Access to the Service is provided via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use Repostify to:

  • Distribute illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content.
  • Spam, mass-post, or attempt to abuse the social platforms Repostify connects to.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code (the open Python helper is provided under its own license).
  • Circumvent any rate limits, security measures, or access controls.
  • Use the Service to violate any third party's rights, including copyright, trademark, or privacy.

3. Third-party platforms

Repostify connects to YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Discord, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Reddit, and gaming forums. You connect your ownaccounts — either by authorizing Repostify via the platform's official OAuth flow or by entering your own API keys. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with each platform's terms and developer policies. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms of service. We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs, platform suspensions, or content moderation actions taken by those platforms.

You are solely responsible for all content posted through Repostify to any third-party platform.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create and distribute through Repostify. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service (e.g., generating AI captions, sending to platforms you've enabled).

5. AI-generated content

Repostify uses Google Gemini to generate captions and post text. AI output can contain errors, hallucinations, or unexpected language. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing — we don't guarantee accuracy, suitability, or compliance with platform-specific rules.

6. Service availability

Repostify is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime can occur due to maintenance, third-party API changes, hosting provider issues, or causes beyond our control.

7. Free trial, plans, and billing

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to premium features (such as cross-posting and scheduling). The trial is granted once per user and per network; we use a hashed IP address to prevent repeated trials from the same source.

When your trial ends, premium features are placed behind a paywall. To continue using them you must subscribe to a paid plan. Basic account features (sign-in, tasks, reminders) remain available. Current plans and prices are shown on the in-app Billing page and may change over time; the price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your purchase.

Payments are processed by PayPal. By purchasing a plan you authorize the displayed charge. A plan grants access for its stated period (e.g. monthly or yearly). Access is enabled once PayPal confirms the payment. We do not store your card or PayPal credentials.

Some integrated platforms (e.g., Twitter/X API) charge their own per-use fees billed directly to you by that platform. Repostify does not mark up or take a cut of those fees, and they are separate from your Repostify subscription.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if your usage threatens the integrity of the Service. You can stop using the Service at any time — to delete your data, contact us.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of liability

IN NO EVENT WILL ALPHAGEN CODES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be flagged on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
